CleryEdge processes sensitive institutional compliance data on behalf of higher education institutions. Our data governance practices are designed to protect that data throughout its lifecycle and to give institutions clarity and control over how their data is handled.

Data Ownership

Customer institutions retain ownership of all data they submit to or generate within CleryEdge. NACCOP-AEGIS processes this data solely as a service provider and makes no claim of ownership over customer data.

Data Use

Customer institutional data is used exclusively to deliver CleryEdge services as defined in the Subscription Agreement. It is never used for marketing, analytics, product development, or any other secondary purpose.

Data Location

All customer data is stored and processed within Microsoft Azure data centers located in the United States. Data is never transferred outside the United States without explicit customer consent.

Data at Subscription End

Upon termination, institutions may export their data within 30 days. Following that window, customer data is deleted from production systems using cryptographic erasure, rendering it unrecoverable.

Deletion Requests

Institutions may request data export or deletion at any time by contacting their NACCOP-AEGIS account representative.

Governing Policy

CleryEdge data governance practices are governed by a formal Data Governance Policy maintained under our TX-RAMP Level 2 certification framework, aligned with NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5.
