CleryEdge is actively maintained and updated throughout the year. Updates typically include improvements to usability, security monitoring, reporting capabilities, and workflow tools that support campus safety and compliance teams.
Customers receive regular system updates, and detailed release notes are available to active users through the CleryEdge Support Center.

Development Practices

We follow a structured software development and release process designed to maintain system reliability, security, and regulatory compliance. Key development practices include regular system updates and usability improvements, ongoing vulnerability monitoring and security assessments, and continuous monitoring of system performance and security posture.

Summer 2026 Updates

  • Refined Geography tools with a modernized, more consistent interface, improved agency filtering, and fixes to redirect and display issues in agency and record management.
  • Enhanced Trip Tracker with bulk upload support for adding multiple trips at once, improved participant visibility for solo trips, and more reliable delivery of policy acknowledgment notifications.
  • Improved Campus Security Authority (CSA) management, including clearer indicators for records with training history, refined status filtering to surface incomplete assignments, and fixes to record creation workflows.
  • Strengthened platform accessibility to better align with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, including improved color contrast and keyboard navigation.
  • Added a clear active-filter indicator to data grids throughout the system, making it easier to see at a glance when a filter is applied.
  • Expanded audit logging and record change tracking across the platform.
  • Standardized status colors and terminology platform-wide for a more consistent experience.
  • Improved outreach letter tools, including automatic defaults so senders reliably receive a copy of outreach communications.
  • Enhanced incident and crime statistics reporting with fixes to filtering and required-field saving behavior. Added category-based organization to task management tools.

Spring 2026 Updates

  • Expanded LLEA outreach tools, including automated status progression, improved letter template variables, enhanced address handling for international agencies, and expanded customization options for outreach letters.
  • Improved Incident reporting with bulk upload support for date and time ranges, a new location field on the Timely Warning Assessment tab, and a built-in compliance check when associating crimes with non-reportable geographies.
  • Enhanced CSA management tools, including improved bulk upload reliability, improved duplicate detection, expanded active/inactive filtering for messages and assignments, and richer options for quiz descriptions.
  • Improved data grid filtering and added address columns to the LLEA outreach grid to help administrators locate and manage records more quickly.
  • Added a shortcut in Geography to submit new agency requests without leaving the module.
  • Expanded audit logging and record change tracking across the platform.
  • Updated email reply routing so that replies to CleryEdge system emails reach the intended user rather than an unmonitored address.
  • Expanded Trip Tracker trip name length to support more descriptive entries.
  • Launched a public system status page to communicate platform uptime and service information.
