CleryEdge is continuously improved to help institutions manage Clery Act compliance more effectively, securely, and efficiently. Our development efforts are guided by feedback from institutions using CleryEdge and by guidance published by the U.S. Department of Education regarding Clery Act compliance, with a focus on improving usability, strengthening security controls, and expanding the platform’s ability to support the operational needs of campus safety and compliance professionals.

Recent Updates

Spring 2026

  • Expanded LLEA outreach tools, including automated status progression, improved letter template variables, enhanced address handling for international agencies, and expanded customization options for outreach letters.
  • Improved Incident reporting with bulk upload support for date and time ranges, a new location field on the Timely Warning Assessment tab, and a built-in compliance check when associating crimes with non-reportable geographies.
  • Enhanced CSA management tools, including improved bulk upload reliability, improved duplicate detection, expanded active/inactive filtering for messages and assignments, and richer options for quiz descriptions.
  • Improved data grid filtering and added address columns to the LLEA outreach grid to help administrators locate and manage records more quickly.
  • Added a shortcut in Geography to submit new agency requests without leaving the module.
  • Expanded audit logging and record change tracking across the platform.
    Updated email reply routing so that replies to CleryEdge system emails reach the intended user rather than an unmonitored address.
  • Expanded Trip Tracker trip name length to support more descriptive entries.
  • Launched a public system status page to communicate platform uptime and service information.

Winter 2025
